Q: How do I as the homeowner get prepared for your visit?

A: We ask that you pick up as much as possible and move as much as you can/want. Anything of value we recommend to be put somewhere safe. We can help move some items such as couches, recliners, tables, chairs and other smaller items. Pre-vacuum of the areas we will be cleaning and give us close access to an exterior door for a simple path to the area for our hoses.

Q: What type of cleaning method is used?

A: We use a truck-mounted cleaning system which provides 240 degree steam and high powered extraction to minimize dry time.

Q: How long will it take my carpets to dry?

A: Dry time varies in every home, depending on cleaning method chosen by home owner (basic or deep), air flow in the home, how soiled the carpet is, type of carpet and humidity. To decrease dry time, a dehumidifier, or any type of fan, can be used to increase air flow.

Q: Do you accept insurance claims?

A: We do accept insurance claims and will work with them directly to make your experience as best as we can during this difficult time.

Q: What's the difference between your method versus a portable or me renting a DIY machine?

A: Portable machines cannot generate the suction power to extract the rinse which can leave a residue in your carpet causing it to become soiled faster. A DIYer may think they are saving money by renting a small portable from a local retailer but in turn its comparable in pricing by using WNY Restoration. First you will have to drive to the retailer, rent machine, buy chemicals, drive home, get set-up, read directions, and with very little if any experience clean your own carpet which takes physical labor. Your results will be sub-par compared to our results and you will do zero labor when you choose us.
